How to connect PayPal Payment Gateway?

⚠️ It is assumed that you already have a PayPal Business account. If not, click here.

Open the PayPal Developer Dashboard: https://developer.paypal.com/home

Make sure the switch in the top right corner of the page is set to Live mode.

Go to the Apps & Credentials page.

Click the blue Create App button.

Fill in the App Name field.

Select Merchant in the App Type section.

Now copy the line from the Client ID field. Then copy Secret.

Return to the Dashboard of the shop bot → Settings page → General tab → ++In-bot payments ++ section . Turn on its switch.

Click the Edit button.

Next, click the card icon to add a new payment method.

Fill in the field Payment system name. For example: "PayPal Payment Gateway".

Select the "PayPal" payment system from the list.

Paste the lines you copied in step #7 in the following order:
Client ID → CLIENT_ID
Secret → CLIENT_SECRET

Click the save icon.

Scroll to the end of the page and click the Save settings button.

⚠️ Do not forget to activate the payment method in the checkout steps. To do this, you must have at least one step with the "Predefined answers" type, and one of the buttons must have the option "Enables payment" enabled. On the right side, select the added system, it will be signed as you signed it in step #11. Also, don't forget to save the changes in the checkout flow.
